Delivery & Returns
Our Delivery Service
At Hanson Electrical, we use our own fleet of vehicles
Many kitchen and electrical appliances are bulky and heavy. Our highly experienced delivery personnel will take as much care as possible to avoid any damage when bringing items into your property. But to help out, please make sure that they have unobstructed access to the place you want your goods left, and that any floor surfaces which might be liable to damage are covered.
Arranging a Delivery Date
Items which we hold in stock will usually be delivered to you within a few working days - often the following day. You will be able to choose your delivery date just before you pay for your order.
Items which we have to order from the manufacturer will take longer to deliver; typically 6-12 working days depending on the particular product. When your items are in stock we will call you to arrange delivery.
Please measure doorways and hallways prior to delivery to make sure your products will fit.

Recycle your old electricals with us!
We’re pleased to offer our customers recycling on all household electrical items.
Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste, and sending it to landfill causes lead and other toxins can leak out and cause soil and water contamination, harming wildlife and human health.
Fortunately, many electrical items can now be repaired or recycled.
That’s why we’re offering recycling on a like-for-like basis – so when you buy a new item from us, we will make sure your old model is taken care of (Collection charges may apply).
If you’re not sure whether your electrical item can be recycled, have a look for the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on the packaging, or on the item itself. If the symbol appears on the replacement item, this is also an indication that the old model should be recycled.
The Directive
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of waste electricals. In the UK, that means retailers like us must offer all customers buying new equipment take-back for their old electricals.
For more information on recycling electricals go to www.recyclenow.com
For a small charge, we will collect your old appliance when delivering your new one so you don't have the hassle of taking it to the local skip or recycling depot.
If you have requested an Old Product Collection, then we ask that the item is disconnected and outside your property when our delivery team arrives.
